Lost in Space by M E D O on Flickr.
I had a dream that I was room mates with Picasso. He never did anything but make art, except he wasn’t working on Les Demoiselles d’Avignon, Guernica or anything along those lines of importance, he was making sculptures out of microwaveable chocolate puddings. In the dream I was so angry at him because I knew he was capable of so much but instead he chose to make pudding sculptures all day long. I remember smashing one of his pieces with a frying pan and then he got really upset and moved out.

Not being doing a whole lot today. These arrived in the post and I’ve just spent the past couple of hours immersed. I’d recommend Desillusion to anyone. Great quality publication with a great in-depth interview with Reynolds.
I’ve wrote a short essay/long article on the current state of visual art and more specifically today’s music. Should we try to fight off or alternatively embrace the current obsession we have with rehashing the past into our present music and art? I would really love to hear some of your opinions on it. Thanks!

Ky Anderson is a really fantastic painter and a great person. See for yourself in this little mini-feature I did on Smallprint.
No Age and Animal Collective should collaborate and make an ambient/noise album. That would be one of the best pieces of music to be ever made, ever.
